Did you get your tickets this year? With an expected crowd of over 12,000 people, VidCon, in only its fourth year now, has quickly grown into one of the most exciting and looked-forward-to events of the decade.
VidCon is self-described as being “for people who love online video. Independent creators, enablers, viewers and supporters of all kinds. The ways that we entertain, educate, share, and communicate are being revolutionized. The creators attending and on stage at VidCon are central to that revolution. The best part is, we’re having the time of our lives doing it.”
With more sponsors than ever and people from all over the world attending, it has become THE major video event on the West Coast. Among the big name sponsors such as YouTube, AwesomenessTV, United Talent Agency, Kia Motors, Intel, Bravo and Dolby to name just a few, Influxis is also sponsoring for the first time with some exciting interactive video elements.
Just like the VidCon organizers, Influxis loves online video and we have fun doing it. This year, Influxis will feature a giant Twitter-powered Plinko board on the mainstage which will give the audience a chance to vote for which slot the web-robotic Plinko arm will drop the chip. If it lands in the right slot, a YouTube star will be dunked!
Influxis will also be sponsoring a live stream hat-cam while we prowl throughout the conference bringing it home for all those who want to get a peek at the action from the comfort of their own couch/chair/desk/phone/tablet/etc.
In addition, we will be featuring a live karaoke streaming booth with a green screen background to put our participants in the music video of their choice, and we will record it while you sing it and add to our YouTube channel.
Those at the conference will also get a chance to apply a temporary Influxis tattoo to earn a free pair of some cool 8-bit Influxis sunglasses. T-Shirts and others prizes will also be available.
