With an unusual backdrop that simply, yet boldly said “CREATIVE STREAMING!”, our booth at Streaming Media West 2012 drew a steady stream of visitors throughout the two-day event at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, in Century City, CA. We had the opportunity to talk to lots of visitors who inquired about our services, such as interactive streaming, User-Generated Content, web-robotics, Union Cloud and the new ICS (Influxis Collaboration Service). Our staff showcased various case study videos and demonstrated the prebuilt apps, such as Faces, TVStation and the new MobileCaster (for both Apple or Android), to give visitors a glimpse of some of the cool things they can do with our service. And the special Influxis-branded, green M&M’s we handed out were a big hit!
Some of our friends made their way to our booth to say hello, including Kevin Towes from Adobe, Philip Nelson from NewTek, Michael Gailing from Teradek and Robert Reinhardt from VideoRx.com; and our partner companies, Adobe, Wowza and Teradek, were also there to sponsor the event. Both Teradek and LiveU (who had a booth right next to us) were even live streaming to our 2-cam live events application during the conference!
While many companies featured streaming-related hardware, software and services, Influxis seemed to be the only company offering custom solutions that enhance traditional video streaming with various live interactive functionalities. With the variety of unique applications and services we exhibited, Influxis proved that it was indeed the “Creative Streaming Expert” at Streaming Media West.
