You may have heard rumors flying around…Flash on Tap is NOT cancelled. It will now be taking place in May 2009. This was a very tough decision to say the least, a change of plans is not always fun but in this case it was absolutely necessary in order to deliver the Flash on Tap conference the way it was intended with many awesome people in a great and unique celebration of Flash.  After getting feedback from a great many who wanted to attend, we decided on May 28th-30th 2009, a Thursday through Saturday weekend timeframe instead of the initial midweek dates, making it possible for many more Flash friends to attend.  For those who are coming, plan on one crazy ass inspiring closing party Saturday night, you will have Sunday to travel back home and recover for work on Monday.  The format of the event will remain the same with the greatest line-up of speakers, workshops, sponsors, and pools of beer!

In addition, many potential craft brewer sponsors were tied up with another October event, the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, CO.  Now with a May event, they are very eager to support Flash on Tap and provide great brew for tasting.

A first time conference with a unique theme, we know this will be one to remember, and many of our good friends are speaking including: John Grden, Sam Agesilas Pastel, Philip Kerman (PK), Keith Peters (KP), Tink, Ralph Haughert, Craig Swizann, Grant Skinner, Robert Hodgin, Robert Reinhardt, Andre Michelle and several other speakers whose already heavy conference schedule could not previously make it are excited to be able to now attend . You obviously don’t want to miss…

Flash on Tap says thanks to all who bought tickets so far and all the sponsors involved.  It will be a conference well worth everyone’s support.

The conference will take place in Boston at The Park Plaza Hotel and The Castle from May 28th-30th, 2009. The program is organized around main stage speakers and afternoon presentations””brewed together with beer tasting from some of the region’s premier brewers. Mid-day small talks will take place at the Park Plaza Hotel and will provide attendees with information and inspiration around skill-building, technique, professional growth and creativity.
