A unique holiday season live streaming game where web users could web-control a ping pong ball launcher to shoot ping pong balls into festive cups while Saatchi & Saatchi LA’s staff would toast and drink down some egg nog with every shot that made it in. People signed on with their Facebook or Twitter info, and the automated queue system introduced the player by the username, so that the agency employees at the event were able to cheer him/her on, making it personal and “connected”. Saatchi & Saatchi LA also made donations to select local charities for each Nog Pong made, which added a PR-generating community involvement element.
