Disneyland kicked off its 60th Diamond Anniversary on May 22, 2015, with a 24-hour kick off event; and it was live streamed for the whole world to see by the professional team of Knockout Digital Media.

Knockout Digital Media, a premier Florida-based digital production company, was commissioned by Disneyland Resort for a two-day live streaming, which included six IP cameras with audio. These cameras were strategically set up at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure to offer a variety of views of the theme parks – Main Street USA (two cameras), Sleeping Beauty Castle (two cameras), Town Square and Paradise Pier.

The online viewers were also treated with live streaming of the premiere performances of “Paint the Night” parade and “Disneyland Forever” fireworks via the Main Street USA and Sleeping Beauty Castle cams.

The concurrent viewership peaked during the parade and the fireworks with tens of thousands of online viewers watching the Disney magic from the comfort of their homes or on their mobile devices. In total, the two-day live stream garnered hundreds of thousands of views, making it yet another successful live streaming event for Knockout Digital Media and Disney.

For this one-of-a-kind live streaming event, Influxis provided a custom, private CDN (Content Delivery Network) for the six IP cameras with transcoding and global load-balancing for an optimum viewing experience. Influxis also provided real-time stream monitoring and round-the-clock expert tech support to ensure the live streaming went without a hitch.
