Paramount Pictures launched an interactive marketing campaign to promote its Footloose motion picture release where people could submit videos of themselves dancing to the movie’s theme song. These UGC (User Generated Content) videos were then showcased on the official website, so that people could vote for their favorites.

As a part of this web application, Influxis provided a main interactive element that enabled movie fans to record their “dance moves” live via webcams and upload these UGC videos to “battle” one another for web viewers’ votes. Influxis also optimized the custom Adobe Flash Media Server for seamless web recording/upload and provided 24/7 technical support for troubleshooting webcam recording issues during the development and deployment of this interactive marketing initiative.
