4) Teradek Cube and Bond
Teradek Cube and Cube Pro encoders provide a powerful, compact wireless solution for local monitoring and proxy recording. Both devices utilize high profile H.264 compression and support resolutions up to 1080p over 2.4/5Ghz WiFi, Ethernet, and 3G/4G/LTE cellular networks via a USB modem. The Teradek Bond line of cellular bonding solutions allows for broadcasting 1080p HD video over aggregated bandwidth from several network interfaces, including 3G/4G/LTE, WiFi, BGAN, and Ethernet. This means that even if your upload bandwidth or peak bandwidth speeds are low, you can use multiple modems from multiple carriers which the Teradek Bond will aggregate to ensure optimum bandwidth speed from any location. Each bonding solution offers a local monitoring capability on iOS devices, Closed Captioning support, and IFB for communication from the studio to the field. All Bond devices require a Sputnik server, which Influxis offers, for the aggregation software that repackages video files sent from Teradek’s Bond or Link and delivers them to the Internet, broadcast stations or other streaming destinations.
