EDGECAST AND INFLUXIS PARTNER TO ACCELERATE FLASH APPLICATIONS WORLDWIDE

Alliance Brings Flash Application Acceleration to EdgeCast Customers; Influxis Will Offer EdgeCast CDN Services To Its Rich Media Clientele

LOS ANGELES, CA -- OCTOBER 22, 2007 -- EdgeCast Networks, the superior, cost-effective rich media content delivery network, and Influxis, a Flash Media Server specialist company, announced today that the companies have partnered to offer Influxis Adobe® Flash Application Hosting to EdgeCast customers and Influxis would offer the EdgeCast content delivery network (CDN) as its preferred global content delivery solution.
The partnership will bring Flash Application delivery to the EdgeCast Network, which includes top tier points of presence in thirteen cities and four continents. Influxis technology now enables Flash applications to be deployed on the EdgeCast “all edge” network, resulting in improved response and availability to users around the world. Customers deploying these applications will see significant acceleration and increased reliability.

“Flash is more than a platform for video – many online applications – from games to business apps - are built with Flash as well. Our customers have been asking for the assurance that their Flash applications can experience the same standard of delivery that we offer for Flash video,” said James Segil, president of EdgeCast Networks. “Our new relationship with Influxis will enable us to give those assurances and back them by our 100% uptime guarantee.”

Additionally, Influxis will now offer its hosting customers access to the most complete rich media content delivery solution available in the industry – the EdgeCast global network. The EdgeCast content delivery network is architected for the large files of today’s rich media Internet. EdgeCast gives customers their own dedicated storage space on the network’s edge, ensuring their files and applications are as close as possible to users.

“As a company with many years of experience offering Flash hosting, being able to offer our customers the power, reach and flexibility of a global CDN is an exciting and welcome next step for us,” said Richard Blakely, CEO of Influxis.

The agreement was formalized last month and the services are available to EdgeCast and Influxis customers immediately.
